How This Game Was Made
Ideation
The concept of the game was decided by humans! My wife and I decided on this game together.
Coding
Claude Opus 4.5. I would indicate what we wanted and it would update/make files as needed. I would go through and direct what we wanted, test it, request new features, etc. If there was some (very) minor bugs, I would clean them up as needed. But mostly everything was written from AI.
I would have to manually add scenes/assets and do some project configurations though. Mostly as directed through the AI.
Sound Effects
The sound effects were generated from AI by elevenlabs
Music
The music was generated from AI by Suno
Assets
The ghost was initially generated from AI by hunyuanglobal.
The model was then cleaned in Blender and rigged/animated in Blender as well
(My wife did this part! We wouldn't have our adorable little ghost otherwise!)
The other "physical" assets in the game was made through the code mostly (or default objects in Godot).
Icons (such as the play button, How to Play icons, etc) were made with ChatGPT.
What's Next
We plan to work on this some more later, but done for a little bit.
Mobile integration should techinically be there, but I haven't tested that part out yet... But we are thinking to launch it on Android in the future.
We also would like to add in leader boards so people can try against each other.
The camera movement is still a little jankey, so that might be updated as well.
Scoring system could probably use some work too..
Game Guide
Goal
Navigate through the neural network maze. Collect all keys to unlock the exit, then reach the exit node to complete the stage.
Elements
⭕ Exit (Locked) - Collect all keys first
🟢 Exit (Unlocked) - Enter to complete!
🔷 Key - Collect these to unlock the exit
⬤ Node - Click/tap to travel there
Connections
Nodes are connected by glowing lines. You can only travel directly to nodes connected to your current position. Brighter lines show direct connections (you can click these). Dimmer lines show secondary connections (visible but not directly reachable).
Controls
Desktop
Click — Move to connected node
Right Drag — Rotate camera
Middle Drag — Pan camera up/down/left/right
Scroll — Zoom in/out
Double Click — Reset camera
Mobile (not tested)
Tap — Move to connected node
Drag — Rotate camera
Pinch — Zoom in/out
Double Tap — Reset camera
Seeds
Each level has a unique Seed ID. You can replay these levels easily by copying the seed and then clicking on the "Enter Seed" button on the main menu and pasting the Seed ID in there. Or give it to others to compete!
